At being here, human our mission is simple - to increase Grief Literacy™ and decrease loss aversion.
We need each other deeply. And, none of us makes it out alive. This is the ask, and the great bind, of being here, human. Loss is not optional and, therefore, grief is not. It is simply the price we pay for being here, human and alive.
Whether your organization supports others who are experiencing loss, or a member of your team has recently experienced a loss, or you yourself are grieving and wish those around you could show up with more ease and skill, we are here for you.
Our trainings are designed to equip both organizations and individuals with the knowledge, language and skills needed to support and sustain one another through experiences of loss.
We at being here, human aim to decrease the harm and isolation that is so often associated with being bereaved. We want to challenge and dismantle some of the most commonly held myths and misconceptions about grief. We want to share language and offer skills to support you in recognizing and honoring your own grief, and the grief of those around you.
If you are a professional who feels as though there is a knowledge and skill gap in your training, or a colleague who doesn’t know what to say, or an organization that wants both your employees and clients to feel supported and seen in their experiences of loss, reach out to us and let’s step into the learning together.
